We partnered with Meteora to extend the protocol beyond infrastructure and into a story-driven narrative universe through Tales of Meteora. A character-led IP designed to build culture, emotion, and long-term community connection.
Tales of Meteora was conceived as a narrative layer for the Meteora ecosystem, aimed at transforming a technical DeFi protocol into a living universe with stories, characters, and continuity.
The initiative focused on humanising the protocol, building emotional resonance, and creating a reusable storytelling framework that could engage the community beyond mechanics and product updates. This was not a marketing campaign, but brand depth work designed to scale culture over time.
Our role was to act as creative IP builders, responsible for shaping the narrative world, its characters, and the visual language that brought the Meteora universe to life.
The core challenge was translating complex protocol concepts into a format that felt approachable, engaging, and emotionally resonant without oversimplifying or diluting the ecosystem’s credibility.
Another challenge was ensuring that the narrative system was not a one-off launch. Characters and stories needed to be designed for longevity, reuse, and expansion across future content, education, and community touchpoints.
Balancing education, lore, and entertainment within a single cohesive system required strong narrative discipline and visual consistency.

Designed original characters within the Meteora universe, each with distinct visual personalities, recognisable traits, and narrative potential
Used animation to bring characters and abstract concepts to life, adding emotional texture while simplifying complex ideas
Produced a launch video to introduce Tales of Meteora, establishing tone and positioning the IP as canonical and expandable
Created character explainer videos that connected individual characters to their roles within the Meteora ecosystem
Developed promotional and launch assets to support social distribution, community engagement, and ongoing storytelling
This approach allowed Tales of Meteora to function simultaneously as entertainment, education, and cultural infrastructure.
Tales of Meteora became a cultural extension of the Meteora protocol, adding a narrative layer that strengthened emotional engagement and community connection. The ecosystem gained reusable characters, a coherent storytelling framework, and a foundation for long-term narrative continuity beyond traditional DeFi communication.
